Description of Idea: BoomBanner is a website that provides free advertisement on media giants' websites like CNN, BBC, New York Times ans more. Any people can upload a banner or send a text and later spread the AD's link over mail. Boombanner is a system that clones the original websites and changes the AD space to the ones people sent. It is an efective action towards democracy in cyberspace. Fred Paulino, Multimedia artist with projects
in net.art, web and graphic design, urban art, video, drawing and
photography. Is currently developing works that explores the relationship
between arts and politics in physical and virtual networks. He’s
been art director at Mosquito Studios from 1999 to 2003 and since
then runs Osso Design. Graduated in Computer Science at UFMG (2001)
and post-graduated in Contemporary Arts at Escola Guignard (2004).
