It is about a project of Net.art. Based on two stories of James Joyce “Eveline” and “A painful case”, the concepts of hypertext, randomness, simulation of alive and dynamic systems in real time are developed.

Through the hypertext and creating a potential matrix of texts / images / sounds, of which only some will be updated like result of the interaction with a user, it tries to make possible a different movement, a reading transformed into problematic, a read/write who multiplies the production of senses, the reader can interpret, organize and structure at the level of their perception and production.

\"Eveline\" of Joyce relates the history of a young woman who lives with her family in Dublín. The appearance of a man who would take her to live in Buenos Aires puts on her fantasies respect to the happy life that could have there, in opposition to her reality and the relation with her father. The unexpected end, if we can speak of an end in the Joyce´s writing (main motor of this work), opens the game to the interpretative wealth of the reader. \"A sad case\" relates the life of a single man who is related spontaneously to a married woman. The questions respect to the reason by which Mr. Duffy interrupts that relation are without sufficient answers.

These two histories are related semantically to this other Eveline, a problem of sort, inabarcable in their plurality, visual metaphor of several readings. It approaches questions, relative to the affection, the encounter, the transit spaces, the body place.

It also reveals the contradictions and/or paradoxes in the obsessive relation man /machine, repetitions in the human conduct and the investigations in the electronics tendientes of life simulation, also the unpredictable thing of the human answers. We could think, from these stories reading, that although the human being can change, the control it dominates its attitudes, it prevents the changes, repeat conducts and it is chosen, perhaps the opposite of which it is desired. According to Derrida, the Greeks concept of democracy was based on the ideas of brotherhood and brotherhood, concepts that did not include the relation with the woman nor between the woman. An almost not modified thought at the present time.
In opposition to this it is observed and it experimented in the work navigation, that in the machines, \"the possibility of changing and of simulating an alive system\" is only a programming question. It seemed that the change in opposition to the control, is much more feasible for a machine than to a human.

Its development has been based on an interactive and random combination of:

Texts of Joyce: “Eveline” and “ A painful case” can be read linearly like they were written trough links to internet sites that counts on those texts either in Spanish or English., and/or trough a random programmed, that search among 10 different possibilities every time, partial text paragraph, altering the linearity of original texts.

Images: Resorts to analogical or digital photographies (taking of the same author) that have been processed previously, looking for one more metonimic relation than metaphorical ones, according to the texts. In other cases ones appeals to images of the network or images of the Argentine and European art history.

Videos: based on personal shots, in different spaces and people from the closets surroundings, are then “re – given” a signification by the incorporation of interactive animation that trim the projection frame, interrupt, initiate the narration, change original sounds and add the computer science of movement simulation, making hybrid in his technical process the characteristics of the digital camcorders movement.

Animation: In general, the interactive characteristics, related or not on photographies or videos, they have been carried out trough the programming by Action Script of Macromedia Flash MX.

Sounds: Some in their original form (1999) were created by Guillermo Pozzati for the work “ Carne Viva”, in other cases, it is appealed to Phelip Glass, John Cage and “Noicesound”. All of them reedited by the author, no longer in their totality, but in small and discrete that appear in a random way too., not fixing in any occasion a static relation of image/sound.

Binnacle: The incorporation of web log trough the “blogger.com” , is made with the objective of introduce the users/spectators to participate in the writing of “Eveline”, their opinion, dialog among them, interpretation or story, would show an “image of the work” like an “image of the world”, a possible model constructed and written by all without pyramidal hierarchies.

Randomness: The site structure it based on an initial organization of ten archives different that they enter indifferently, without the spectator can decide which of them prefers, these contain five or six as well links each one connected with other also randomizadas options of entrance, that look for other ten different possibilities every time. From these last ones it is possible to be acceded to all of them and first also. An organization who will be only made visible from a multiple conección or in network that will show different screens in simultaneous and at real time. The double and triple randomness allow dynamic relations of the information, in which hardly would produce the same image, texts and sounds relation. An only attainable calculation through a mathematical operation of square root, who transforms each navigation in an performatic act.

Communication: Based in different simulations of dialog that in some cases the user will be able to keep in his computer.

Phase 2:

A data base will be gotten up that allows the partial selection of texts lines from these stories and the incorporation of others of the reader/writer. The result, \"an exquisite corpse\" of each visitor will be re-enter to the data base for its later use by another user. Each writing could unitarily be consulted and/or in the set of which all write throughout the time.
This data base will also allow the incorporation, in real time images incorporated by the visitors incorporate.
