Zonadefault.com is a net art project that focuses on the exploration and perception of the digital media and its confrontation with the real world. The perception change on reality as a result of its representation on the electronic medium.
The website includes different works whose conceptualization fall between the following investigation guidelines: the virtual and the real, the perception of the human body, the identity and human relationships in the electronic media.

BIOGRAFIA DOS AUTORES: Ricardo Rendón (Mexico City) works on a wide range of media, from installation and sculpture to net art, multimedia installations, digital video and sound. The main subject of his investigation is the creation and the processes involved in the artistic production. He has achieved international awards and recognition.
His works have been recently exhibited in ARCO 2005, The Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin 05, Videobrasil 03, Videolisboa, The Tamayo Museum and The Carrillo Gil Arts Museum in Mexico City. Other important exhibitions includes Canada, Lisbon, Barcelona, Madrid and Switzerland.
Since 2005 he is teacher at El Centro Multimedia in CENART Mexico City.
