ATTEMPT 2002
Starts-off with a generic blue video screen and a running time-code.
Questions appear without question marks. There will be no answers to these questions and there will be no soundtrack - The work attempts to seduce and provoke the spectator in an intimate context.


RESCUE SUBMARINE SIGNAL
4' 2002
Rescue Signal is a 16mm film showing footage of Brazilian landscape being covered by submarine rescue smoke. The work is displayed like a painting that transform the landscape into orange smoke. This creates literally and metaphorically acts between exotic and ideally setting to the unknown or cathartic.

TALK TO ME 3min - 2000
A helicopter view of São Paulo (the largest city in South America, with 15 million inhabitants) with a soundtrack of broken dialogue between a woman and a man. The work explores the tension between Distance and Commitements by juxtaposing a macro view of a large city against a micro view of a domestic situation and in this way, announces the contradictions between these two perspectives.

Telephone 2000 1´20``
An exterior view of a telephone conversation providing only fragments of dialogue. But it doesn’t seem to matter, since the protagonist is paying more attention to the alien figure. She is doodling on a sketchpad. A communication gap which gives rise to another outlet for processing thought.
