Urban intervention realized in Rotterdam on September 11th , 2003 for the GEARINSIDE project.
Action on lift bridges spread around the port town. The situation of verticality of the bridge – with all its visual and architectonic elements common to the street – is a “spontaneous” displacement of the town. The presence of the vertical body potentializes the situation, it brings to scale the axis for image construction. The present body presents itself as tension and at the same time as a signature.

Sem Saída - 2:00 - 2003
Waking up at five in the morning. I prepare the spirit. I go down in the dead of night, not so dead. People sleepwalking through the calles. The dark alleys that take me to the square. Walking and trying to intuit if this is the right moment, the right action, the needed courage or stupidity.
Creating an alternative exit at the closed sports court. Opening a hole in the grid. An action with a aesthetic (circle) and also politic principal.
