“Agrícola y Ganadera” 13min - 2004

“Agrícola y Ganadera” focuses on the geography of the argentine pampas, more specifically on the southern geography of the Cordoba providence, historically known as a “agrícola y ganadera” zone with a strong presence of immigrant communities from Italy or Spain.
Taking this as a starting point, the work traces parallels between the concept of “zone” and the marks of violence, frustration or repressed joy that the geography prints on the inhabitants of this lands. By means of an disjoined and empathic narration spaces are being searched and built for “tanáico” rituals, personal experiences and the search of common roots.
