Urdabrunnen 2min loop DVD
The title Urdabrunnen is from Norse mythology meaning "The well of fate". The water in this well was said to be so light that it lit up the whole world. In order for the humans and gods to
be able to sleep the 3 Norns (demi goddesses of destiny) had to put large black sheets over the well each night. The video Urdabrunnen is a visual meditation in controlling your own destiny.

About the Videos
My newest video work is a continuation of my series "The False Promise of Convenience" and "The Overrating of High Self Esteem". In addition to further draw inspiration from existentialist philosophy it is also rooted in Norse mythology. The Nature scenes, which are all shot where I grew up in Sweden, are the subconscious and becomes symbols of our roots and longings for times that past.

Originally the pieces were made specifically as projections that would utilize the architectural space of a room; a corner where a wall meets a wall, the floor meets a wall or a wall meets the
ceiling, but they work as well on a flat screen.
