Kuarasy o Berab is an invisible being, composed by three humans. Its existence started when the three components met themselves at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, in the Reitoria building, where they studied architecture (Aline and Rodrigo) and sculpture (Ivan). In 2000 started to play in Ivan’s cube, where they were immersed in Sundays afternoon. Fortunately they found out that what was going on was not only music but an entity materialization – The Kuarasy. The musical elements are hypnotically repeated, with the aim of reaching higher states of consciousness. Graphically, kuarasy express itself like a circunference. In certain moments, our bodies are induced to spin. KOB manifests itself in many shapes (luminous tents, speakerwalls, sound-kinetic objects…) and in different spaces (carwash, concrete Oca, castle…). Circumstances change sound, that never repeats.
