GridCosm is a collaborative Internet art project by
Sito Electronic Arts (www.sito.org) New images are fast-pacedly
added in a neverending telescoping process. Each artist has only
two hours to reserve, produce and upload a piece to the Cosm. This
video animation condenses five years of work from over a hundred
artists into a twenty-minute intense adventure. This is a film that
will permenantly skew reality for the psychologically teetering.
Images fly by in a strange illusion of three dimensions. It's a
beautiful and slightly nauseating thing. Weeks and months fly by.
Current events become the past.
Castles rise up and recede. Patterns bubble and fizz. Perversion
gets lost in a tapestry of motion. In short, a dazzling undescribable
experience.
