Desconstruindo Letícia Parente: “Marca Registrada”.Live Images - 2003 - 30 minutos
Manipulating live images pre-altered about electronic improvised musical exercices, this performance rereads the work “Marca Registrada”, by Letícia Parente, a pioneer of videoart in Brazil. The focus of interest is to create a counterpoint between Leticia’s historic performances and the disconstruction of a narration of the video that results of the manipulation.

Experimental creator in the field of videoart, develops since the end of the 80’s personal narratives in video, as well as a series of experiences with video installations.
From the year 2000 to nowadays he has been dedicating to live images, term wedged by him to designate the manipulation of images and sounds in real time, to the creation of immersive audiovisual projects and to the development of content and specific environment for new media .
