or budgets? Are we what we buy and use or just parts of a bigger
machine who gets richer every year? Who needs this "buying"
- us or the market? In this audiovisual piece the collective media
sana work on these and other questions
related to the not so innocent propaganda world.

Television has been the best communication media and it's hard to
imagine the world without it. the problem is that instead of being
used as a social tool, what television airs most of the times are
interests of particulars that not seldom make use of non-ethical
models to sell their ideologies until it become acceptable and sometimes
the truth. The collective Media Sana shows how subliminars things
can be and how it happens without being noticed.
MANIFESTO
This media sana opening composition invites the watcher to create
its own television station and to give up on any passivity on corporative
media. The video shows that this call is nor rebel or subversive
and that freedom of speech is guaranteed by constitution for every
brazilian citizen.
O coletivo media sana foi criado em um contexto
de expansão de \"formas de expressão\" propiciado
pelas novas tecnologias digitais. São djs que ao descobrir
os softwares de Vjing passaram a usar samples midiáticos
(audiovisuais), além dos exclusivamente musicais. Em dezembro
de 2002 o coletivo media sana fez suas primeiras intervenções
nas ruas da cidade de Recife, se utilizando de uma estrutura móvel
montada em uma kombi. O formato híbrido (videoarte, performance,
intervenção, ativismo, música, etc..) tem levado
o grupo a se apresentar em festivais de música e arte eletrônica,
festas, congressos, palestras, universidades e escolas.
