E n c l o s u r e s 22’ An essay on borders, history, and the weather.

‘Enclosures’ is a video essay on movement within borders, on exile both internal and external amongst other questions.
It ‘s a road trip from Holland to France, through which it embarks on reflections about various topics by way of written texts and voices of invisible personalities.

 

Born in Beirut, studied History at the American University of Beirut and European Film Studies at The University of Edinburgh in the U.K.
Has participated recently in a residency programm in the Rijksakademie Van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam.
She is currently in the process of working on a video essay shot in Belo Horizonte within the project ‘Blind Spaces’ organised by CEIA, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and PULSE, Durban, South Africa.
