Vertical Emotions 4:16m
Clips of pop songs and television images layered to create a
subliminally charged atmosphere where the lines between fantasy
and
nightmare become harder and harder to see.
Since 1998 Oliver Lyons has created sound for choreographers,
filmmakers and video installation artists. His work has been screened
and performed at several cities internationally and throughout the
United States. The work included in the prog:me festival is taken
from a DVD album of ten original video/sound pieces he completed
in 2004. The album is called Traces of an Afternoon and was released
on the Brooklyn based DVD label CollectivEye.
